This Wednesday we will be watching none other than Derry Girls series 1 (aka episodes 1-6)! The luck of the Irish. Thank you to Kripang and Shina for suggesting this one as part of our People's Choice round, and to all our members who voted!

Inspired by creator Lisa McGee's own experiences coming of age, the acclaimed sitcom follows the exploits of a 16-year-old girl, Erin Quinn, with her family and friends during the Troubles in early 1990s Northern Ireland's Derry.

Come along from 4:30 for free pizza, followed by eps 1-6, which come to about 140 mins total, being about 23 mins each. Note: there is a class in the room right before us, but if you arrive early you are welcome to hang out at the desks outside. Afterwards, we'll hang around to chat and then head to the pub.
