Week 1 Screening: Cowboy Bebop (1998) with free pizza

"Ok, 3, 2, 1, let's jam."

For our first event this semester, the Television & Streaming Society and AniManga Society are banding together to watch an anime classic- perhaps the best of all time: the original Cowboy Bebop (1998)! And specifically episodes/sessions 1-5, each 25 mins long.

When: Arrive from 4:30 pm, Wednesday March 4
Where: Arts West Room 353, Interactive Cinema Space
Free: Pizza and drinks before the show 🍕🥤

In this episodic neo-noir space western, a ragtag crew of bounty hunters aboard the spaceship Bebop chase down the galaxy's most dangerous criminals on missions tinged with an air of existentialism. Led by a production team including director Shinichirō Watanabe and screenwriter Keiko Nobumoto, the series is also famous for its incredible jazzy score courtesy of composer Yoko Kanno.

We'll serve pizza just after 4:30, and begin ep 1 around 5:00. Come for all five eps or as many as you'd like, and feel free to bring friends :) Afterwards, we'll hang around to chat and head to the Ida Bar if there's interest.
