M-ASS Annual General Meeting

The Melbourne Arts Students Society invites you to our 2024 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 21st of May at 2:30PM to elect the 2025/26 M-ASS committee.

At the AGM, members will have the opportunity to run for a position on M-ASS’ committee, vote for the incoming committee, as well as any proposed constitutional changes. There will also be reports presented by the outgoing President, Treasurer, and Education Coordinators.

The meeting will be held via dual-delivery, beginning at 2pm.

Entry to the AGM will not be permitted to non-members.

Unless advanced notice is given, persons arriving after 2:15PM will not be permitted entry.

Please register for the AGM by signing up for a FREE ticket.

Tickets will be available from 1:45PM on the day of AGM (21/05), until 30 minutes after the advertised start time of the AGM.

You must have a ticket to attend the AGM.

NOMINATIONS:
Nominations will also be accepted during the meeting, but we encourage you to nominate beforehand to save time and help with organisation. Online nominations will close Tuesday 27th May at 11:59pm.

You must meet all relevant criteria for a position at the time of election to be eligible. Please have a look over our current constitution for further details about eligibility.

Those having nominated themselves or been nominated by others for an Executive position may prepare and present a speech for up to 2 minutes. A limited number of questions will be permitted from the audience, with answers up to 1 minute.

Non-executive positions may speak for up to 30 seconds. A limited number of questions will be permitted from the audience, with answers up to 30 seconds.
