Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday 28th May 2025 at 5:00PM on campus at the Alan Gilbert building Room G21, during Week 12 of this semester.  

 

The AGM involves a review of the events and progress made over the past year and the election of executives for Semester 2 of 2025. All registered club members are welcome to attend, vote and run for a position. We will be conducting the election using Google Forms. Members can nominate for any of the committee executive positions listed below:  

  1. Chapter President 

  1. Chapter Secretary 

  1. Chapter Treasurer 

  1. People-to-People Exchange Officer 

  1. Education Officer 

  1. Careers Officer 

  1. Communications Officer 

  1. Sponsorship Vice Officer 

  1. Two General Representatives 

For role descriptions, please refer to the attached ACYA Committee Positions document. 

 
If you are interested in running for any executive positions, please nominate yourself or a fellow member by replying to this email BEFORE the AGM. Please state all the positions that you are considering. Then prepare a short speech (2 minutes) to present at the AGM. Let us know if you have any questions or would like to speak to the current committee executive about their role.
