Week 3: Belote et Biscuits

Bring your best beret for 90 minutes of bidding, bluffing and borderline backstabbing!
Thursday, 11th of August, at 12:30pm, come on down to University Square to learn the basics of a classic European card game, while you binge on biscuits!

Do you know your “quart” from your “carré”; when to pass and when to play? If not, you obviously are bereft of the blessing that is Belote!

Nothing helps with learning a new card game like brain food, and what better brain food than biscuits! An assortment of sweet bikkie treats await you as you play the national card game of France! It may seem intimidating to the uninitiated, but in no time, we will have you clutching your Carreaux et Cœurs like a pro!

Who knows? Maybe you will be the one to claim the title of Belote Boss by beating the best, our resident expert!

This is a members-only COVIDSafe event.

• All attendees must be fully vaccinated in accordance with University of Melbourne policy.
