Hi WoM members! 

 

As we get closer to the end of semester, let's celebrate with a bash, mahjong and free food and drinks included! 🍕🧋🀄️

 

📅 Date: 10 October 2025, Friday

⏰ Time: 4PM to 6PM (SGM starts at 5PM)

📍Venue: Market Hall, Building 189, Activity Room 101

 

At 5PM, we plan to do our SGM before returning back to the mahjong fun. Here are the committee positions available for nominations for any WoM member:

 

✨Executive: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
✨Non-Executive: Activity Officer, Marketing Officer, Strategic Officer

 

⚠️ Please note that the role of President, Secretary and Treasurer must be occupied by a post-graduate student. Nominations will open at the meeting. Nominees are permitted to give one speech for each position you are nominated for, with each speech lasting a maximum of 1 minute.

 

If you cannot attend the meeting in-person, you may email us your nomination at mahjong.unimelb@gmail.com with your name, position and a 1 minute speech. The Returning Officer will read out your speech during the election period. The deadline for emailed nominations is 10 October 2025, Friday at 5PM, late submissions will not be accepted.
