What's the Night Market?
If there’s one event that you can’t miss out on as a student in UniMelb, it would be the Night Market! It is held each year around (month) and draws in a crowd of thousands every time, making it our biggest event! From street food stalls, giveaways, fun games and activities to magnificent dance performance, DJ sets, and cultural performances, there’s something for everyone, so come along! It’s a festival for everyone, and we’ll make it a night to remember!
No two Night Markets are ever the same! While every Night Market celebrates the cultural diversity found in the University of Melbourne, each Night Market also adheres to a unique theme, such as "Blast from the Past". This year, the Night Market has a theme of "Stories of Us", where we will go down memory lane and re-experience all the stories, songs, and experiences that made us who we are today.
Don’t want to just be a participant? We also open opportunities for students to perform, set up a stall, or even become an MC! We typically announce participation forms through our socials, so give us a follow and keep an eye out!
